The John Deere 1170E starts a completely new wheeled harvester size class. In addition to the new ergonomic cabin, new TimberMatic automation, new frames and many other improvements, the 1170E features a new CH6 parallel boom, new H414and H412 harvester heads, a new bogie axle and a new 24.5 in. tire size. The CH6 parallel boom provides excellent geometry for fast and precise boom movements. Its high lifting and slewing torques and excellent durability ensure great agility for both late thinning as well as final felling operations.

The H414 and H412 harvester heads have been particularly designed for the midsized E-series harvesters and feature excellent power-to-weight ratio and compact size. The John Deere-exclusive 24.5 in. tires provide great carrying capacity as well as driving comfort.
